STAGE PLAY AUDITION GUIDELINES

1️⃣ Eligibility

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must be available for rehearsals (dates will be provided upon selection)

• Must be available for full performance day (July 18, 2026)

• Prior stage or acting experience preferred but not mandatory
   

2️⃣ What to Prepare

🎬 Monologue

• 1–2 minute monologue (dramatic or comedic)

• Must be memorized

• Choose a piece that showcases emotional range and presence

🎭 Cold Read

• Selected candidates may be asked to perform a cold read from the script

🎤 Optional (If Applicable)

• If auditioning for a musical role: prepare 30–60 seconds of a song (Afro-soul, theatre, or contemporary)

• If auditioning for comedy: prepare a short comedic performance (1 minute max)
